For you enjoyment Four stories headed by the daily "Stripes"
Backed up by 3 Lee Falk golden oldies.
You'll find the other three adventures fascinating.
The King of the Beasts is a Sunday story that originally appeared in 1946 credit for the art was given to Ray Moore but look closely and you will see a great deal of input from Wilson Mc Coy
The other 2 stories were written by Lee and illustrated by Sy Barry. " The Witchman dates back to to 1972 and "The Uninvited Visitor to 1980'
It is worth pointing out the difference in the art of both stories "The Witchman" being a daily strip, was printed in newspapers in black and white. Without worrying or allowing for colour. Barry was able to inject an enormous amount of detail, especially into panel backgrounds. "The Uninvited Visitor" ran as a Sunday story and was printed on almost every newspaper in colour. Hence Sy had to dispense with overmuch detail to give the colourists the chance to do justice to the art....
