Sandal is of course the daughter of Dogai Singh, who has always had
an uneasy relationship with her villianous father. Dogai wanted a son,
and she was forever treated with his disdain because of her gender!
She did however, manage to produce an illegitimate grandson for him
through a coupling with his arch-enemy,
