Writer David Bishop has come up with a most unusual script for his latest Phantom adventure!

The Devil’s Kiss involves a scheme to undermine and ultimately destroy, The Jungle Patrol - and it revolves around an evil temptress who glories in the well-chosen name of Delilah.

The name, needless to say, is vaguely linked to the famous story of Sampson!

That is interesting enough, but even more fascinating is the early mention of an old Phantom enemy named Salim Bey.

The Phantom, convinced Bey is long dead, is naturally startled when he is told by a roughneck that Bey is not only alive, but the mastermind behind the plot to wipe out The Jungle Patrol!

What with a gang of heavily armed thugs shadowing his every move and Delilah working overtime to use her charms to bring key members of the Patrol under her control, The Phantom
