This is one of the more popular story lines to come to us from our Scandinavian friends. Little wonder really since Norman Worker seldom puts a foot wrong when it comes to telling a gripping and engaging tale.
If you combine his ability to weave a mythical adventure with the edgy and exciting art that is always associated with Kari Leppanen’s pen, then it is hardly surprising that this dynamic 5 part series sets off at a cracking pace with Pirates of the Arctic. Leppanen is responsible for the art on this and the next instalment The Garden of Death both of which leap out at you with searing pace and adventure a plenty. Part 3 Count of Darkness has art produced by our friend Romano Felmang. There is little to say except the man is a gifted artistic genius in my humble opinion! Parts 4 and 5 have art from Carlos Cruz and Hans Lindahl respectively. I find it fascinating to read this series all bound together by a brilliant epic plot that would rival some of literatures classic odysseys....
