“Captured from Above” is a 2023 Team Fantomen story written by German
writer Bernd Frenz, with art by the Polish comic artist Janusz Ordon.
This story by Bernd Frenz was also picked up by German Publisher, Zack
Edition, for inclusion in their very first Phantom Album in 2024. Edition
number 1 is titled “Die Verschwundenen Base Jumper”, which translates to
“The Missing Base Jumpers”. This title pretty much sums up the premise of
the story. We have chosen to go with the direct translation from Swedish in
“Captured from Above”.

Phantom Vietnam #11 “Purple Haze” by Paul Mason with edits by Amanda Bacchi is our second story in this issue. Paul, as always, seems to have found his lane with this comic. His knowledge and connection to soldiering in Vietnam and his personal experience with hand-to-hand combat infused each and every page with a delightful authenticity.
