“Firepower” is a Fantomen story from 2019 written by Dai Karlstrom and Magnus Carling, with the art of Rafael Ruiz and Coral Martínez. “Firepower” is packed with action and drama. The Phantom and Devil come up against a new and very dangerous cyber-weapon, which in the wrong hands could be as lethal as any nuclear threat. The beautifully illustrated cover for this issue was provided by Wollongong artist Marcelo Baez.

Bringing this comic book to its conclusion is a sweetly domestic and reflective story written and drawn by Shane Foley called “Waiting for Dad.” Shane explores the home life of the Phantom’s family whilst he is away on a mission.
