“The Coast of Chains” is our feature story in this issue. It’s a 2022 Team Fantomen story, written by Daniel Carlsson, with art by Anthony Spay.
Daniel Carlsson who has been working for Egmont is now turning his skills toward writing Phantom stories. Frew has also published his two previous stories “Rak-Ah’s Star” issue no 1959 and “The Street Predators” issue no 1950. The art for this story by American, Anthony Spay once again demonstrates the value that can be added to a story by the talent and feel of the artist involved.
Operation Domino’s “The Irregulars” by Duncan Munro is now hitting its fifth chapter. Duncan’s writing on this is so cleverly imbedded in the history of the time and artist Fabio Alves has taken his opportunity here to demonstrate his gift. It’s a gritty, moody, perfect example of black and white art capturing its location and era.
