  • "The Fire of Life" - story by Michael Tierres and art by Hans Lindahl.
Story : The Fire of Life written by Michael Tierres and brilliantly illustrated by Hans Lindahl is another Phantom classic out of Scandinavia. It first appeared over there in 1985 and has been printed by Frew in issues No 1031 in January 1993 and later in 2002 Issue No1325. The reason I have decided to reprint this again now is quite simply because in the near future I will commence publication of The Heart of Darkness series written by the same author under his real name Claes Reimerthi.

This is a 389 page long Fantomen series by Claes and drawn by Joan Boix. In this story the Phantom faces several supernatural elements. The beauty of it is that it comprises 49 episodes each being 7-10 pages long.

Perfect to publish in conjunction with other shorter Egmont material and will help me to maintain the page count of our comic for a while as we adjust to and absorb the new 22 page stories coming to us from Egmont. The Heart of Darkness also follows up on the events from this story, actually several characters in The Fire of Life reappear in it.  So it seemed advisable to let you read this fantastic story first, or in some instances again to inform you and wet your appetite for the future episodes in The Heart of Darkness series.

We now offer this as a physical paper comic or as a digital comic.
