The Mystery of the Golden Rune Part 2  -The Garden of Death, written by Norman Worker with wonderful art by Kari Leppanen is the second instalment in this Classic Series. Things go from bad to worse for The Phantom in this one as a simple fishing trip with a friend ends in near disaster. This is followed by an encounter with a bottled genie and the customary 3 wishes. He is captured and eventually sold into the torment and torture of slavery being bought by the evil Princess Lala Singh. The Phantom has seldom been in such a perilous situation. If he is to survive it will take all his remaining strength, wit and endurance.
