The 2014 Christmas Special has turned out to be a fantastic eclectic mixture of the old and the new. It is with great delight that we bring to you previously unpublished by Frew, The Scoundrel and Death Stalks the 5th Phantom. The Scoundrel, was written by Tony DePaul with art by Paul Ryan and was a daily newspaper strip in the USA earlier this year. Death Stalks the 5th Phantom is my personal favourite as once again the story line touches on the area of vulnerability and the strength and support of the female partner. This was written by Tony DePaul with art by Terry Beatty and appeared during 2014 as a Sunday adventure.
Rounding out our 2014 Christmas Special we unearthed two Lee Falk/Sy Barry classics— The Jungle Olympics and King Bongong. We do hope you will enjoy this all American special over the holiday! ...
