  • "Bigfoot" - story by Falco Pellerin and art by Joan Boix.
Cover art by Antonio Lemos.

The Phantom has faced many fearsome foes over the years, but possibly none so huge and powerful as his main opponent in this adventure! Bigfoot centres on a man-creature many people—especially forest hunters and explorers— are convinced actually exists in North America.

The evidence is probably best described as skimpy….grainy video and film footage, long distance still photographs and close-ups of gigantic footprints….just enough to drive a wedge between true believers and cynics.

Whatever the truth about the existence of the Bigfoot creature, Falco Pellerin’s script will at least start people thinking. As will the art of Joan Boix, who brings the giant Redwood forests of North America to life and highlights the possibility that a much wider range of wildlife than previously imagined could co-exist in such wilds.

(Worth reminding you here of the ongoing stories about several gigantic animals, possibly of the cat family, which many believe inhabit the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, and the lower areas of the Great Dividing Range north of Windsor, the historic town also west of Sydney. The stories are yet to be completely disproven!).

Such stories (or rumours...take your pick…) exist in many parts of the world!...
