Basically, writer Claes Reimerthi’s script deals with the young aristocrat Aurora Los Velez, a cousin of Queen Natala, the wife of the 6th Phantom.

The year is 1667.The headstrong young Aurora falls in love with—of all men—The Phantom, disguises herself as a man and somehow bluffs her way into the elite Jungle Patrol.

While in the service, Aurora actually devises a fiendish plot to kill Queen Natala!

It is at this point that Aurora’s troubles really begin!

And rightly so—The Phantom is waiting in the shadows, ready to pounce!

Artist Sal Velluto has turned in yet another brilliant job to bring Reimerthi’s complex script to life and as you are about to discover, the story has quite a sad ending.

All the ingredients therefore exist for another dramatic Phantom adventure.

Controversy however, will almost certainly centre on Aurora becoming the first female to be accepted into the Jungle Patrol ...
